AAP
A man has been charged over a fire that destroyed a home in Sydney and forced the evacuation of neighbouring properties.
A 35-year-old man handed himself in to police after the blaze in James Ruse Drive, Parramatta on Monday.
The home, which is up for sale, was vacant at the time but six neighbours were forced to leave their own homes out of fear the fires could spread.
