Explosion in southern Sydney cafe

Two kitchen staff have suffered burns after an explosion in a cafe in southern Sydney.

The explosion occurred in the kitchen of the Sans Souci cafe on Sunday afternoon, a NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman told AAP.

The two men, who are believed to be in the 20s and 30s, were transported to St George Hospital with minor burns to their forearms, a NSW Ambulance spokesman told AAP.

They are in stable condition.
