Electrolux staff head into last day on job
AAP
Workers at Australia's only refrigerator manufacturing plant in central NSW are facing an uncertain future as the factory in central NSW prepares to shut down.
The Electrolux plant in Orange is due to close on Monday after being a major employer of locals since it opened as a small arms factory in 1942.
But the Swedish-owned company announced in 2013 production at the factory, which employs 300 workers, would be moved offshore to Asia and Europe in a hit to the town and Australian manufacturing.
