Duo charged over assault and kidnap

A man and a woman have been charged over the serious assault and kidnap of a man on the Central Coast.

Police were called to an address in North Gosford at midday on Saturday and found a man tied up and suffering head and chest injuries. He remains in a serious condition in Gosford Hospital.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old woman on Saturday afternoon and a 29-year-old man the following day.

Both will appear in Gosford Local Court this week.
