Driver smashes three parked cars in Bondi

A drunk driver has crashed his BMW into three parked cars in Bondi, police say.

The 38-year-old has been charged after allegedly leaving a trail of destruction on Old South Head Road just after 1am on Monday.

The parked cars were extensively damaged.

After returning a positive roadside breath test, police say the man was taken to Waverley Police Station where another test found him four times over the legal blood alcohol limit.

He is due to face Waverley Local Court on May 6, charged with high-range drink driving.
