Sydney cyclist dies after collision with truck

A cyclist has died after colliding with a truck in Sydney this morning.

Emergency crews were called to New South Head Road at Rose Bay after the 50-year-old man had become trapped under the garbage truck near the intersection of Kent Road.

He died at the scene and is yet to be identified.

The driver of the truck has been taken for mandatory blood and urine tests.

Causing further chaos for Sydney commuters, a motorbike and car collided on the Pacific Highway at Turramurra causing traffic to queue for 9km.
