Cyclist critical after Byron Bay accident

A cyclist is in a critical condition after falling from his pushbike in Byron Bay.
The 70-year-old was riding east on Bangalow Road when he fell, impacting heavily with the asphalt.
He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital.
