Sydney mum who vanished during routine bank trip returns home

A Coogee mother whose disappearance was termed "out of character" has returned home to her family.
Jessica Bialek left her home at about 8.30am Wednesday to visit the bank, but when she failed to return home her family contacted police.
Her husband Sabino Matera posted on his Facebook page yesterday: "Jessica Bialek is safe and at home. Found. Thank you".
He later posted: "Dear world of friends and family, I am here to express my most sincere gratitude for the amazing support from all of you.
"The last 24hr [sic] have been hell for me and my family and you all made a huge positive impact on the great outcome: Jess safe back home.
"Thank you for all your prays [sic]. Thank you for the search. Thank you Facebook. Thank you for showing me the greatest community I underestimated I had behind my family.
"Thank you for the calls, messages. Thank you for the food. Thank you police workforce, you have been unbelievable!
"I am overwhelmed by the people that joined forces for this huge task: returning a mother at home safe.
"To all of you mothers: Thank you. Thank you to the Jewish community and its spirit of solidarity. All your words have a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten.
"Thank you god for bringing back Jessica home safely. THANK YOU."
The 37-year-old mother's phone appeared to have been turned off when she went missing and police were investigating whether her bank accounts have been accessed.
Ms Bialek's father Michael said his daughter had a large group of friends in Sydney and Melbourne.
"She's got a darling little daughter who's missing her, and a loving husband," he said.
"If there's a reason she wants to be on her own, we just want to know she's safe.
"She's a loving mother, a wonderful sister, a wonderful daughter, so all of those things make us very suspicious about what it is that's made her go missing."
Ms Bialek returned to her Sydney home this evening.
"The woman returned home today and is now speaking with police," a NSW Police statement read.
