Train services have resumed at Sydney's Circular Quay after the station was evacuated earlier due to a suspicious package.
NSW Police have now Tweeted that the package was "deemed not suspicious".
Ferries were halted as police swarmed on the scene earlier this afternoon.
Police told ninemsn a suspicious object had been found on a ferry.
Specialist officers arrived at the scene about 1.30pm, the spokesman said.
Ferries were diverted from wharves 4, 5, and 6.
Ferries continued running to the Quay, but train services on the City Circle were not stopping at Circular Quay station.
Sydney bus services in the were also been suspended.
Police advised pedestrians in the area to move on.
