Bus fire causes significant delays on Sydney's M2 freeway

A bus has caught fire on Sydney’s M2 freeway near Baulkham Hills.
Firefighters rushed to the scene after the westbound bus suddenly burst into flames about 6pm.
The blaze has caused major delays along the M2 with one lane closed.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
The fire is now extinguished although firefighters remain at the scene and could be earlier seen spraying fire retardant foam into the vehicle’s engine compartment and rear.
