Police hunt driver following hit and run in Sydney's inner west

A woman has been rushed to hospital in Sydney's inner west after she was injured in a hit and run on a pedestrian crossing.

Police say the woman was hit on the Grosvenor Crescent crossing outside Summer Hill train station tonight.

Investigations are under way and police on the scene say they are hoping to make an arrest soon.
