Birthday brawl turns bloody in Sydney

A birthday celebration in Sydney's west has turned into a bloody brawl leaving four men with stab wounds and two others with cuts.

Police who were called to a home in Wentworthville about 3am on Sunday found the house empty but a large amount of blood.

Meanwhile the six men who live at the house turned up at Westmead Hospital, four of them with stab wounds and two with abrasions. None of the injuries were life threatening.

Police say the six were celebrating a birthday when the fight broke out.
