Beau Lamarre-Condon's mother accused of attempting to pervert the court of justice in son's double-murder trial

The mother of Beau Lamarre-Condon, the former police officer accused of killing a Sydney couple, has been arrested and charged for allegedly trying to influence an important witness in his double murder trial.

Homicide Squad detectives today charged 63-year-old Coleen Lamarre, who is a former police officer herself, after she allegedly attempted to influence a key witness to change their evidence in the trial over the alleged murders of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

9News understands the witness's lawyer informed police of the alleged attempted coercion ahead of the trial in September.

She was arrested at her Balmain home this morning at 11.15am and was taken to Day Street Police Station.

Lamarre was charged with intending to pervert the course of justice.

She was refused bail and will appear in court tomorrow, the same day that her son's case is set to return to court.

Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to murdering TV presenter Jesse Baird, whom he briefly dated, and his flight attendant partner, Luke Davies, at their inner-city Sydney home in February 2024.

Their bodies were discovered by police dumped at a rural property days after the couple went missing.

The 30-year-old became the first serving NSW police officer charged with murder in several decades, when he was accused of shooting the duo at Baird's Paddington home.

The senior constable handed himself in and was charged with murder.

Weeks later, he was fired by NSW Police.
