Attempted murder charge over NSW stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed during an argument in Sydney.

Police say a 54-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen in Liverpool at about 2am on Monday and remains in a stable condition in hospital.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and has been charged with attempted murder and refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Friday.
