An elderly man who was gored by a bull at a property north of Newcastle is now in a stable condition.
Emergency crews were called to the property on Limeburners Creek about midday on Monday after the 88-year-old was charged by a bull, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesman said.
The man was flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a serious condition but his condition stabilised later on Monday, a hospital spokeswoman told AAP.
