$43,000 cash found in speeding car

Officers who pulled a driver over for speeding in northwest NSW were surprised to find $43,000 in cash scattered through the car.
The car was clocked doing more than 180km/h after complaints of a Holden Commodore travelling at dangerous speeds in Wilcannia on Wednesday morning.
Police say officers searched the car and found the cash plus a small amount of cannabis in the vehicle. The driver allegedly had $1000 on him.

A 42-year-old male driver and a 23-year-old woman have been charged and the man's case was heard on Thursday.
He was refused bail to appear in court again on September 22 and the woman has been granted conditional bail to appear in court on October 21.
