Car rolls on Sydney's M4 after clipping other driver

A Sydney driver has demonstrated why it pays to keep your eyes on the road after dramatically rolling their car in a relatively slow-speed rear-ender in traffic.

The driver reportedly escaped injury in the traffic incident, believed to have taken place on the M4 motorway earlier this week.

Video posted to the Dashcam Owners Australia Facebook page on January 12 shows the driver of a Hyundai carelessly veer across the left lane and collide with a stationary VW.

A van travelling behind the Hyundai narrowly avoided a second collision stopping just short of the incident.

Comments on Facebook place the incident on the M4 near Silverwater.

The accident has been likened to a scene from a Hollywood blockbuster, with one commenter on Facebook questioning how the incident could have occurred.

“That's straight outta (sic) movies that flip. Was there an airbag under the car to flip it?”
