Dozens of cancelled B-Line bus services leaving northern Sydney passengers stranded
The B-Line bus service is a transport lifeline for thousands of residents on Sydney's Northern Beaches, but for many it is not an easy ride.
Transport for NSW data revealed more than one in 10 bus services on the northern beaches were cancelled during the morning peak in the last six months, leaving commuters waiting in long lines each morning.
Six per cent of services were also cancelled in the afternoon.

One frustrated commuter told 9News she spent more time waiting in line for the bus than she did on the bus.
Another said the bus was often late or was too full to collect them.
Transport for NSW spokesperson Howard Collins said it was a national issue they were working hard on.

The B-Line is becoming an election issue as voters prepare to head to the polls on March 25.
Popular northern beaches mayor and independent Wakehurst candidate for the upcoming state election, Michael Regan, said fixing the buses was top of his agenda.
"The implementation of privatization just hasn't worked," Regan said.
"If the contract isn't working then get in the room, vary the contract, it's not rocket science."
