NSW's Deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Jeremy McAnulty has warned residents of the state to maintain their hygiene practices.
"We are at a crucial point in the fight against COVID. It remains a very active number of cases in New South Wales and Victoria. It's very important that we, as a community, come together to fight this virus," said Dr McAnulty.
"The things that we all need to do is maintain social distancing, keep at least 1.5m away from other people, avoid crowds, avoid clustering."
