One in custody after fatal shooting in Sydney's Inner West
One man is dead and another is in a serious condition after a shooting in Sydney’s Inner West this morning.
Police confirmed the two victims were ambushed at an apartment on East Street, Five Dock in a targeted attack at about 3.45am.
John Odisho, 25, was shot in the head and taken to Westmead Hospital for emergency treatment. He died shortly after admission, having his life support switched off.

A 24-year-old relative was shot in the arm and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
“We are still trying to determine from witnesses the number of offenders that were involved,” NSW Chief Inspector Stephen Parry told 9News.
CCTV footage showed one of the alleged shooters wearing high-visibility clothing as he fled from the scene.
Police would not confirm if the shooting was gang or drug related, however a man believed to be related to the incident presented at Auburn Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach. 9news

As police searched the surrounding streets, one of the alleged attackers, a 28-year-old man, handed himself in to Auburn Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
Police would not confirm if the shooting is gang or drug related but a crime scene has been set up at the apartment.
Another man involved in the shooting is still wanted by police.
A crime scene remains in place while investigations continue.
