Police investigating circumstances surrounding death of a man in Sydney’s south

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a man’s death at a healthcare clinic in Sydney’s south overnight.

Emergency services raced to the clinic on Ramsgate Road, in Ramsgate Beach around 11.30pm, following reports that a man had been electrocuted.

NSW Ambulance paramedics found a 38-year-old man lying unconscious and with the assistance of police performed CPR at the scene.

However, the man could not be revived.

Emergency crews could find any evidence that the man had been electrocuted as reported in the Triple Zero call to authorities.

The person believed to have placed the call, another man in his thirties, also had to be treated by paramedics and was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.

Police from St George Police Area Command established a crime scene at the medical centre and will prepare a report for the Coroner.

In a statement police said early investigations indicate there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
