Man killed in fatal truck crash on NSW Mid North Coast

A man has been killed after the truck he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a roadside creek on NSW’s Mid North coast this morning.

Emergency services rushed to the Pacific Highway at Raleigh just before 6am this morning following reports a B-Double had left the road and crashed.

NSW Ambulance paramedics and officers from the Coffs Harbour Police District found the driver dead at the scene.

He is yet to be identified.

A crime scene has been established and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are currently being investigated.

One of two northbound lanes, and one of two southbound lanes remain closed on the Pacific Highway near short Cut Road at Raleigh.

Authorities are asking drivers in the area to exercise caution as the investigation continues and to allow extra travel time through the area.
