Couple robbed at gunpoint during terrifying home invasion in Sydney
A couple were subjected to a terrifying home invasion after masked men pushed their way into their home in Sydney's west.
Police said three men wearing dark clothing and armed with a firearm knocked on the back door of a home on Buckleys Drive in Winston Hills around midnight.
The homeowner was watching TV while his wife was asleep upstairs when he answered the door and was confronted by the men.
The homeowner had a gun held to hid head during the terrifying incident. 9News
9News was told the man had a handgun put to his head and was told to “cooperate” before pushing the gun away.
The three men demanded to be shown to the safe and stole jewellery, cash and passports.
The couple were meant to be heading overseas for a holiday today and are now unable to go after having their passports taken.

No one was injured during the incident and police believe it was a random incident.
The men fled the scene and police were called and officers from Parramatta Police Area Command attended the property and have begun an investigation.
