Further charges laid over prison drug syndicate
A further three people have been charged over their alleged involvement in a prison synthetic opioid drug ring.
Strike Force Wessex was established to investigate alleged criminal groups involved in drug supply using drug run or 'dial-a-dealer' phones across Sydney.
During the investigation, detectives uncovered an alleged syndicate operating within a correctional centre, involving the supply of Buprenorphine.

Police arrested a 75-year-old woman at a South Penrith address about 8.30am yesterday.
She was taken to St Marys Police Station, where she was charged with supply small quantity of a prohibited drug and granted conditional bail to appear in Penrith Local Court on September.
Police executed a search warrant about 8am today in Orange, where they arrested a 56-year-old man and 50-year-old woman.

The pair were taken to Orange Police Station, where they were each charged with supply a small quantity of prohibited drug.
They were refused bail to appear in Orange Local Court today.
Two men, who were arrested earlier this year, remain before the courts.
