New gig for former Liberal MP Hendy

Former Liberal MP Peter Hendy has been appointed to the Commonwealth Grants Commission as a part-time member for five years.
Dr Hendy, who lost the seat of Eden-Monaro at the 2016 election, was also recently appointed to the board of the Council for Australian-Arab Relations.
He's a former chief executive of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and chief economic adviser to the prime minister.
