$3.3 million lotto prize claimed in north west Queensland
A $3.3 million lottery prize has been claimed in north-west Queensland, 10 days after the draw.
The winning ticket was purchased from Julia Creek newsagency over the New Year weekend as part of the Saturday Gold Lotto draw but went unclaimed until today.

The winner of the division one prize has chosen to stay anonymous and celebrate in private.
Owner of Julia Creek newsagency, Elle Warner says she's glad the winner has come forward.
"We have owned this newsagency for 38 years this Saturday, and this is our first division one win!" she said.
"We have previously sold two $80,000 first prizes in Golden Casket back in the day and have also had a large Instant Scratch-Its win.
"My wish for the winner is that this prize brings you joy."

This is the second lottery win in North-west Queensland in two months. Last month a Townsville mother won $10,000 on Christmas Day from an Instant Scratch-it ticket.
Eleven others won $3.3 million as part of the same Saturday Gold Lotto draw - three other winners came from Queensland, four from Victoria, three from New South Wales and one from Western Australia.
