Mystery $8 million lottery winner yet to claim their prize

The mystery player held the only division one winning entry nationally for draw 1601 on October 22.

The winning entry was sold at Central Station News, Shop Lg 13, Melbourne Central, 211 La Trobe Street in Melbourne.
"This $8 million win could truly change this mystery person's life," Central Station News owner Shuxia Tang said.
"I can imagine they'll be super shocked when they check their ticket."

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1601 were 17, 1, 28, 16, 24, 26 and 2, while the supplementary numbers were 47, 4 and 41.
"Imagine going to bed tonight not knowing you've just won $8 million in Oz Lotto," The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said.
"That's the reality for one mystery Victorian player after scoring division one in Tuesday's draw.
"While we've been unable to confirm the division one win with the winner, we're sure that when they check their ticket and discover their news, they'll be jumping for joy."
