Muir takes to two wheels for safety push

Revhead Senator Ricky Muir will swap four wheels for two at a parliamentary motorcycle event.

The Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party senator, together with Labor MP Bernie Ripoll and other politicians, will participate in the fifth annual Parliament House motorcycle show, ride and breakfast on Monday morning.

Organiser Shaun Lennard says the event is about raising awareness about road safety and the tourism benefits of motorcycle riding.

A convoy of 20 parliamentarians will ride to Fyshwick for morning tea at a motorcycle dealership.
