Motorcyclist fighting for life after crash

A man is in a critical condition after being thrown from his motorcycle in a collision near Bendigo, Victoria, this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Church Street, Kangaroo Flat, about 2.50pm following reports of a crash between the bike and a car.

The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and is expected to be flown to Melbourne for treatment.
His passenger avoided external injuries and has been taken to Bendigo Hospital in a stable condition for observation.
The condition of the car’s driver is currently unknown.
Paramedics remain on scene.
