'Serious concerns': Search launched for man missing in bushland near Sydney for a week
A search has been launched for a man who says he's lost in bushland north of Sydney.
Adrian Banciu, 33, from Macquarie Park was last seen on Sunday November 12, and his family reported him missing.
However, a week ago on Friday November 17, Banciu contacted emergency services as well as his family, NSW Police said.

He said he was lost in bushland in Berowra Valley National Park near Hornsby.
Police believe Banciu was near the swimming pool on Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby, sometime on Monday 13 November 2023, before he went into the bush off Galston Road.
Police from Ryde Police Area Command along with specialist officers from the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit, with the help of SES and Rural Fire Service volunteers, began scouring bushland near the Mt Kuring-Gai area.

"Police and family hold serious concerns for Adrian's welfare", NSW Police said.
Adrian is Caucasian, about 175cm tall, of thin build and has a black beard.
He was last seen wearing a maroon flannelette shirt, tan shorts and black velcro sneakers.
