Woman's death 'non-suspicious' after body found inside Gold Coast home

The death of a woman at a Gold Coast property has been labelled as non-suspicious, following a crime scene being declared.

Police were alerted to the property at Mermaid Waters for a welfare check shortly before 9am today before finding the woman's body.

After initial investigations by homicide detectives, police ruled the death as a 'medical episode' and that they were treating the death as non-suspicious.
