Man charged for allegedly pushing 64-year-old woman onto Melbourne train tracks
A man has been charged for allegedly pushing a woman onto the tracks at a busy train station in Melbourne.
Commuters helped avoid a disaster by pulling the 64-year-old to safety at the Richmond Railway Station about 3.50pm yesterday.
The woman was taken to hospital in stable condition for non-life-threatening injuries while the man fled the scene.

It's understood he pushed the woman, who was a stranger to him, from behind as she waited on Platform 4.
Police today arrested a 54-year-old man from Werribee at Southbank.
He has been charged with conduct endangering life, conduct endangering serious injury, reckless conduct causing injury and unlawful assault of a female.
He has also been charged with several unrelated offences including burglary, theft, aggravated burglary, trespass, unlawful assault and make threats to kill.

The man has been remanded in custody until his court date on July 12.
