Melbourne tattooist offering discounted Matildas tattoos has her 'busiest week ever'

A Melbourne tattooist offering discounted Matildas tattoos for the World Cup has been inundated by Aussies wanting to permanently embrace the Matildas spirit.

Chloe Jane, who runs Ratu Tattoo in Brunswick, is having her biggest work week ever after she decided to advertise a range of Matildas-themed tattoos at a discounted rate on Monday.

"I booked out within 24 hours," she said.

"It usually takes me a few days to book out."

She is scheduled to do 17 Matildas tattoos in the coming days, on top of all her other bookings.

"I normally do two to three (tattoos) a day, I'm doing seven on Sunday."

Jane has drawn up a range of Matildas-themed designs that she is offering.

"The main (request) is the jersey, everyone wants the jersey," she said.

But Jane said she was "stoked" that one person had requested her Mackenzie Arnold tattoo design.

The tattoo artist has also shared on Instagram that she will give a free tattoo to any of the Matildas players.

However, she is yet to have the offer taken up.
