Man charged over Melbourne park jogger sex assault
A man has been charged with one count of rape over the sexual assault of a woman in her 20s who was jogging in a Melbourne park.
The woman was running along Merri Creek at Coburg around 6.30pm on Tuesday when she was grabbed from behind and assaulted, before making her way to a nearby food outlet to raise the alarm.

Police arrested the 25-year-old man at Carlton about 1.30am on Wednesday and interviewed him throughout the day.
He has also been charged following an alleged attempted armed robbery at a service station on Lygon Street, Carlton, approximately half an hour before his arrest on Wednesday.
He was bound to appear before an out of sessions court hearing on Wednesday evening.
