Man found with gunshot wound after crashing car in Melbourne
A man has been found in the middle of a Melbourne street with a gunshot wound after crashing his car.
The man was seen screaming in pain collapsed in the gutter this morning.
He had been shot in the leg and was helped by a neighbour in his dressing gown, who ran out after hearing the blast of bullets.

Police believe the 38-year-old was shot before crashing a stolen car into a pole on Raleigh's Road in Melton about 9am.
Residents ran out to help stem the bleeding before the man was rushed to hospital.
Four blocks were locked down as a crime scene before police found a shotgun outside a home just metres away.
A man was arrested nearby.
The Volkswagen T-Cross was towed from the scene.
The man is now under police guard at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
