Huge crowds lined the streets of Sydney to watch the 47th annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade.
Sydney was buzzing as one of the biggest nights in the city's social calendar took place.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese enjoyed a night out at the 47th annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade.
Albanese wished revellers a happy Mardi Gras as he spoke to the crowds of LGBTQIA+ supporters, took selfies and marched around the city.
The PM was greeted with fanfare as he walked across Oxford Street during the late night celebrations.
Albo was flanked by fellow LGBTQIA+ supporters as he waved to crowds.
Albanese was the first sitting prime minister to march in the annual Mardi Gras parade in 2023.
"I've been doing this (coming to Mardi Gras) for many decades now, just about every year since about 1984, so for 40 years," Albanese told ABC.
"But it's fun. It's a celebration, and it shows a commitment to respect people for who they are."
Revellers dressed as lifeguards joined the celebrations on Sydney streets.
Townhouses lining Oxford Street in Surry Hills were filled to the brim with partygoers.
As is tradition, Dykes on Bikes kicked off the parade around 7pm, sharing the love with the flags on their ride through the parade route.
Tens of thousands of people made their way from across Australia to watch more than 10,000 participants of all ages.
There were about 180 floats this year, including the ice-cream themed group from Emerald City Kickball.
