A man has indicated he will enter a guilty plea over the alleged assault of a five-month old boy.

Emergency services were called to a home in Sydney’s west last Wednesday after the child was allegedly thrown from a baby swing onto a tiled floor.

The little boy suffered a serious head injury, and was vomiting blood.

Pleading that paramedics and police not be called to the incident, court documents indicate the 21-year-old flipped a living room table in a fit of rage, smashing glass, before fleeing the scene.

He was arrested nearby a short time later.

The documents also reveal police are in the process of investigating another violent incident where the man is accused of throwing a dog across a lawn and into a brick wall.

Agreeing to the terms of an Apprehended Violence Order, the man used a red hooded jumped in an attempt to hide his face and avoid awaiting cameras when leaving court.

He’s been ordered to return to Mount Druitt Court for sentencing on August 1st.
