Man hospitalised with face and head injuries after alleged Sydney assault
A man has been hospitalised with face and head injuries after he was allegedly assaulted in eastern Sydney overnight.
The 43-year-old was found inside a home at Yorktown Parade, Maroubra, about 1.30am after emergency services were called over reports a man had been assaulted.
Police said he had injuries to his head and face.

After being treated by paramedics he was taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
Police have set up a crime scene and launched investigations into the incident.
