A suspect is on the run after a man was shot in the leg outside a home in Broadmeadows, Melbourne, last night.
The 47-year-old man was shot in the front yard of a home about 10.25pm, police believe.

Initial investigations also suggest it was a targeted attack by someone the victim knew.
"We do not believe that it was a random incident, at this point in time we believe it's most likely that the offenders and the victim were known to each other." Victoria Police Detective Sergeant Paul Topham said.
