Man shot in Sydney's west

A man has been shot in the leg in Sydney's west.
Emergency services were called to Yeend Street, Merrylands at 7.30pm (AEST) tonight and found the man with a gunshot wound to his thigh.
The 34-year-old was taken to Westmead Hospital but his condition is not life threatening.

Police officers are searching the area.
