Man seriously injured during wild brawl at McDonald’s

A man has suffered serious injuries after a violent brawl at a McDonald’s in Sydney’s inner-west overnight.

Emergency services were called to the fast-food outlet on Victoria Road, Drummoyne, about 2.20am after reports of men fighting.

Up to eight men were found brawling in the car park, police said.

One of the men, aged in his mid-20s, suffered a head wound and has been taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers arrested one man at the scene, but he was later released.

Investigations are ongoing.
