Man photobombs ‘selfie-taking’ kangaroo

An Australian man has captured a photo of a kangaroo in its natural habitat, which on first glance, appears to be taking a selfie.

A user posted the photo to Reddit only two days ago and the baffling image already has almost 2.5 million views.

The photo shows a rather charismatic kangaroo peeking into the camera with what seems to be a confused and befuddled look on his face.

The user explained on the post their cousin managed to get the photo by prodding the kangaroo in the direction of the camera.

Apparently the kangaroo made the funny expression “when he saw himself on the screen”.

Hundreds of people have commented on the photo. Some even posted their own selfies with kangaroos.

“So this guy is never changing his profile pic again,” one user wrote.

“How rude of your cousin to photobomb that kangaroo!” another pointed out.

“I forget, are these rabbit dogs or T-Rex deer?” wrote another, apparently non-Australian, user.

Another user even pitched a movie idea.

“I feel like this should be the cover to some buddy cop movie, but one of the cops is a kangaroo,” they wrote.
