French man hit by police car as officers respond to brawl in Sydney
A French man has been hospitalised after he was hit by a police car at Darlinghurst in Sydney.
The officers were travelling with lights and sirens through William Street in repsonse to a large-scale brawl in the CBD.
Police are not treating the crash, which left the car with a cracked bumper, as a "critical incident".

Police were responding to another incident when the man was hit. 9News
The 35-year-old French national was sent sliding down William Street when he was struck at 3am.
The officer who hit him and his partner rushed in with a full-scale emergency response and he was rushed to hospital.
The man's shoes, clothes and wallet were left in the middle of the road.
9News understands the pedestrian was refused entry from a nightclub before walking onto the road.
The police car was one of several responding to a brawl involving more than 50 people on Pitt Street.

Police say the pedestrian didn't suffer any serious injuries and was in a stable condition.
NSW Police Superintendent Jill Walters said the urgency in which the police car was travelling was "justified".
But the actions of the officer behind the wheel, a constable from King's Cross, will be independently reviewed.
Senior officers say they're satisfied his driving was appropriate.
Police are now in the process of contacting the pedestrian's family, who are overseas.
