Man found dead in water off Trigg Beach, Perth

A man has been pronounced dead after being found in the water off Trigg Beach, Perth, today.

Police were called to reports of a middle-aged man in the water off Trigg about noon, WA Police said in a statement.

He was pulled from the water and taken to hospital by St John Ambulance, but attempts to revive him failed and he was later declared dead.

Detectives are working to identify the man.
