Emergency services were called to the property in Magellan Avenue at 11.45pm yesterday.

Paramedics treated the man before taking him to a nearby school to await a helicopter airlift to hospital, however he died before it arrived.

Police admit they don't have any idea who attacked the man, who had been couch-surfing recently.

"At this stage we don't have any suspects and we don't have any motives," Inspector Paul Tickner said.

Police are investigating a fatal stabbing at this home in western Sydney. Nine

"All we heard was a scream, then ambulance and police turned up," a neighbour told 9News.
