Man, 87, dies in hospital after being hit by a car in Sydney's north
A man has died after being struck by a car in Sydney's north on Monday, January 6.
The 87-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car near Sherbrook Avenue in Hornsby at around 10.30am.
Emergency services were called and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene.

The man was then taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
Police were informed he died in hospital on Wednesday, January 8.
The man who was driving the car, 34, was not injured.
Kuring-Gai Police Area Command officers confirmed an investigation into the incident has commenced.
