Man killed after he was struck by metal object on a barge in Barangaroo

A man has been killed after he was struck by a metal beam while working on a barge in Barangaroo, Sydney.
Paramedics were called to the construction site of the Barangaroo ferry wharf about 4.40pm.
The man, aged in his 30s, died at the scene.

Officers have established a crime scene and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
SafeWork NSW inspectors are at the site.
