Man charged over Tassie shooting

A man has been charged with murder over a shooting south of Hobart.

Police say a 41-year-old man was shot and killed at a house in Kingston last Friday.

A 19-year-old man from Hobart has been charged with his murder.

Police say the alleged murderer is not related to his victim.

Detectives say the man was acting alone, although further arrests have not been ruled out.

The man was arrested on Sunday and later charged.

He will appear in court later on Monday.
