Man left with cuts to head after alleged sword attack in shopping centre
A man has been charged over an alleged sword attack at a Queensland shopping centre.
The 29-year-old is accused of striking a man multiple times to the head early yesterday afternoon with a bladed weapon at the centre on Bailey Road, Deception Bay, in the Moreton Bay area.
He allegedly drove away from the scene before being found hiding under a house in Deception Bay after a witness provided police with details of the car.

The alleged attacker will face court today on charges of causing grievous bodily harm, drug possession and unlicensed driving.
The 41-year-old victim was not known to the other man and received a large cut to the side of his head and lacerations to his fingers.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
