Man charged over explosions and alleged thefts at three Adelaide ATMs

A man has been charged over a series of explosions and alleged thefts at Adelaide ATMs.
A 39-year-old Newton man was arrested in Frank Street, Newton just before 2pm today.
He has been charged with two counts of aggravated serious criminal trespass, three counts of property damage by explosives and three counts of theft.
The arrest follows explosions at three cash machines in Adelaide, beginning in May and as recently as Tuesday.
The first machine was allegedly blown up at the Adelaide Zoo on May 27, the second at Tea Tree Plaza on September 11 and the third at Newton Shopping Centre on Tuesday.
The man has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court next Wednesday.
